Quick start
How to use the GPA Calculator
- 1
Add each course

- 2
Enter credit hours
Use the actual credits from your transcript. Standard is 3 per college course; high schools usually use 1 per class.
- 3
Add more courses
Click + Add Course as many times as you need. The GPA updates instantly as you fill rows.
- 4
Add prior GPA (optional)
Already have a GPA from previous terms? Drop it in the Current GPA section with your total credits to see your cumulative.
How the GPA Calculator works
The GPA Calculator runs every course through the standard 4.0-scale formula: each letter grade’s GPA value is multiplied by its credit hours, then all of those are summed and divided by the total credits.
Add a Current GPA and Current Credits to blend prior terms in — useful when you’re partway through a degree and want to project your updated cumulative.
